Tokyo Mew Mew Reviewer: Jaden Summers Email: “Private” ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Anime Episodes: 26 episodes in English (52 in Japanese) Seasons: There are two seasons of Tokyo Mew Mew Movies: So far there are no movies OVA: So far there are no OVAS’ Price: No DVDs of Tokyo Mew Mew were found No VHSs of Tokyo Mew Mew were found There are Manga and CD of Tokyo Mew Mew ranging from nine dollars and up Rated: PG13 Catagories: Action Romance Comedy ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Review Synopsis: A young girl is given the power to turn into a Mew Mew, and fight aliens. Along with four others her mission is to save the world from destruction. Age Rating: I would rate this PG-13. The English Dub is Squeaky clean, but the Japanese has some cussing, and corrode humor Adult Content: Kish kisses Ichigo against her will. To destroy Mew Ichigo the main villain chokes her. Ryou is seen several times with out a shirt, and once with only a towel. Magic: I would say this is in your own personal opinion. The do use “Power Pendants” to transform. Each of the Mew Mews has a weapon, and shouts to activate their powers. The villains merge animals, plants, and people’s souls with infusers. Overall – Overall the English dubbed is the best even though it is not the complete series. If you want to watch the complete series I would suggest the show in Japanese. It has a couple questionable spots, but is better than the manga. In the Japanese show both Kish and Ichigo pin each other to the ground several times (nothing bad happens). Ryou accidentally falls on top of Ichigo (again nothing bad happens). In the manga Mark stabs himself, but in the show he doesn’t. <--- http://hugglebunny.com/animereviews/ --->
